The waiterses are incredibly polite and attentive. It has a very homey atmosphere and is calm. The cooks in back are very friendly and fairly fast. The place seems to keep rather busy, considering that it's one of the few restaurants in the down town area. However, it does not feel to crazy. All the food I've tried has been amazing especially their sandwiches. As well as they truly have good fries. They have a good crisp outside that most don't. As well, if you are a fan of honey mustard they make their own. It's a good combo of sweet and vinegary.

Absolutely loved this place. Thanks to my friend we will be coming back!

In order of how my amazing meal came out. I will be back next trip to the casino the is 5 mins down the road. Food better that the casino offers. Staff was on point aswell.

Such a great please to eat. Great food, great service and atmosphere was great too. Highly recommended. The lobster bisque was my favorite.

This place has great lunch specials. I have eaten here several times and the food is usually good. They do tend to skimp on their side items and sauces. I once was only given 6 fries on my plate. It also takes a while for the food to get to you. The restaurant itself is a real treat if you like architecture. The Milano sandwich is a great vegetarian dish I highly recommend.

Great food. Reasonable prices. I personally like the lobster bisque. Crab leg night is the best night to dine here.

We went on a Thursday, crab leg auce night (all you can eat), and they were served perfectly done they popped right out of the shell no problem. They were great! The serve warm butter with it and wonderful rolls and butter. And a lobster bisque soup yum yum it was to die for. Excellent. We had a week new server who was very friendly and funny. The refills were right on time and hot. There was 5 of us and they had the room for us. They were full the whole time we were there. But it was very comfortable and the whole staff was great. Bathrooms were clean. Register man was friendly and efficient coming in and going. We thank you. We felt not rushed and welcomed to take as much time as was needed. We left full and happy. Thank you. A classy classic. ShoeBooties is a great place to check out when you are in the western N. Carolina area. If you are driving through Murphy definitely make the effort to check this done place out.

I was told there is new ownership and I believe the quality of the food has declined. The bartender was great upstairs and she was our server. If it weren't for her, I wouldn't have even given two stars. Steaks and prime rib were very fatty. Prime rib was not flavorful and was served towards a cool temp. My friends shrimp cocktail was served on a flat plate, no ice and the shrimp was in the shells. Let's just say I think we'll pass on Shoebooties going forward.

I love this cute cozy comfortable little cafe in Murphy NC. I look forward, really, to eating here on my annual trip to North Carolina this time of year. What is it that I like? The comfortable wooden booths conducive to quiet enjoyment of a meal and conversation. Ideal for two to sit side by side, holding hands if you wish (works best if one is left-handed and the other right-handed), the intelligent personable wait persons, and, oh yes, the food, well prepared and tasty. I always opt for the day's lunch special. Hmmm, this is making me hungry and I just finished breakfast 🤗.

We sat upstairs in the lounge. Atmosphere was excellent. Bartender was friendly and knowledgeable. Food was well-prepared. We had the black bean almond burger and the spinach veggie wrap. Definitely recommend.

First time here and I was very happy with the food, it was delicious, good service and the place looks nice and clean, the staff was great, highly recommended

Great spot in Murphy, NC!!! We were on a drive up and spotted the cafe, unplanned. It was very nice. Chicken Cordon Blue, fresh salads, and friendly service!!

Shoebooties is always a great experience! The staff here is knowledgeable and friendly and make great suggestions when I have no clue what I want. My favorite is the Lobster Bisque. I’ve gotten to know the staff on my various visits and part of the dining experience is simply getting to see them. Jorge the manager is great and Shannon, Bryson, and Ben on the wait staff are top notch.

Walked by this place and decided on a whim to try it out. Seems to be a regular stop for most of the customers. Good food, good service, a little nicer than the usual catch a lunch type places.

The service and the food was good for the lunch special today but did not appreciate staff standing at the back door cursing while we are paying good money to have a quiet lunch.

Visiting area and their name got our attention. The staff was very friendly and attentive. You get a lot for your money and the cost is unbelievably low!! The chicken cordon blue was out of this world. We will definitely go there again before leaving town.

My husband and I really enjoyed this place! The tempura mushrooms were a great start followed by the Cobb Salad for me (incredible) and the fish and chips ( delicious) for him. The real star was the martini “flight” made by Jessica! She was great and the martini sampler was incredible! What a genius idea. Loved everything about this place and will definitely be back

1st time visitor. Had salad and baked potato with a glass of water. Pricing great. Food excellent however, no refill on water until I was finished and the waitress offered to fill up so I could wssh down my food. Too late. I noticed no one getting a refill on any drink and as I walked out, most glasses were empty.Attention to the small stuff makes a difference. I'd recommend requesting 2 glasses when 1st ordering.

Our experience was less than good. Very slow service, orders were brought out wrong or burnt. On a positive note the food was pretty good. Limited places to eat in the area so was hoping to go back and eat while we were here for the week but would never eat there again. Would have given a one star but food was decent. Management seem to care less about our experience when told.

Great tasting, quality food with the small town Murphy setting. Do yourself a favor and go on a Friday night when they feature the prime rib.

Excellent food and service. We had the shrimp cake appetizer, Jack Daniel’s ribeye, and Mediterranean Shrimp pasta. Everything was prepared timely and tasted delicious. Our server Adriana was very attentive and knowledgeable (she recommended our entrees). We will definitely return!!

What a fined. I got the Chef salad that came with a bean soup to die for. The salad was great as well. Amazingly good food and plan to be waiting in a short line with locals. It is a cut above and priced appropriately. High value for the quality food they have.

ShoeBooties is a great little restaurant in downtown Murphy. Their food is fantastic - they even have a lot of vegetarian options. Everything I've had there has been fantastic. The only reason ShoeBooties doesn't get five stars in my book is due to the speed of the service. We've been twice and the food is worth the wait, of course, but if you're in a rush then I'd postpone your trip to ShoeBooties. Wait until you have two hours and opportunity to enjoy the atmosphere, wines, desserts, etc.

Super cute local cafe with art on display ( which is for sale), an upstairs bar, and live pleasant music in the restaurant. They decorate for holidays.

Although I ate dinner 3 days before covid19 shutdown it was probably one of the best places I ate. Not necessarily a cocktail person after I spotted several awesome drinks that customers got I had to try one. Martini s the flavored ones great. I ordered the steak with bourbon sauce it was cooked to perfection and very tender for filet cut the sauce was spot on not overly applied. The salad was excellent and fresh baked bread are good. Decided as I like Italian wedding soup as family made it a little reminder of home was worthwhile. I never had better soup sorry grandma I got to go back for more. The bartender was very nice and informative of area since I was new thank you for the great .deal ill be back.

Food was delicious and our waitress/bartender was delightful! We ate upstairs in the lounge area. My partner had rack of lamb (he loved it!) And I had a philly cheese steak (really good!) Couple martinis and a couple wines... life is good y'all!

Recently had lunch here while in town for a wedding. It was wonderful! The decor and atmosphere are lovely and relaxing. The service was friendly and efficient. The food was delicious! We had black bean burger and an eggplant sandwich. Both were wonderful and the side of orzo with dill and cucumber made it all the better. Their small shooter desserts aren’t to be missed as well. I highly recommend stopping here when in town. We will definitely come back.

We showed up on Wednesday for trivia night. It was a hoot. Lots of fun and the food was excellent. The service personable and prompt.
